I would expect a free version of an app to have limited functionality, but still have some usefulness. The "lite" version only allows you to enter 5 book titles. Not very useful. It would be more commercially honest to brand this version as a free demo.

Does anyone know any app where you can read the books like that would be a good and useful app

I find it fishy that there are features to this app that do not let you TRY them in the trial version. Kind of suspicious considering the paid version has several poor reviews that say it crashes alot... There are book database apps out there that do let you try out all the features and I think that is good business!

I so wanted this app to work, but, mindful of a whole lot of 1-star ratings, I thought to give the lite version a try. I uploaded it to my iPad and immediately noticed that screen orientation does not adjust. No big deal. 3 books were pre-loaded, so I deleted them. No problem. Then I added my first book by entering the author and tapping Import, then Search Autor/Title. After only a few seconds, the authors books appeared. I started going through them and marking about 15 titles I had. The app then made me go through each book individually and add a required genre, which was blank, then press the Save button. Im wondering, if I had selected 30 titles, would I still have to add each one separately by tapping the Save button? Is this author-dependent? I have several hundred books... After I added my 4th book, the app froze. The screen was completely unresponsive. After exiting with the hardware Home button and re-entering, there was no data. I deleted immediately. Drat! I really wanted this app to work!

While the free "lite" version has most of the buttons that the full version does, nowhere does it say what the limits are. This became frustrating when trying to decide whether to purchase the full version. It seems (trial and error) that you can put in only 10 books, and the email export features instead quit the app completely (not even a polite "this feature only works in full version, would you like to upgrade?" message).

Im a big library user, but have a fair amount if difficulty remembering the titles/authors is beyond me. I feel stupid trying to tell people about this fabulous book Ive read! Im loving my record if books Ive read. The only downside so far is that the app doesnt remind you to save. So I can add all the details of a book, and unless I remember to hit the little "save" button before going back to the main screen I lose it all. Id also like some date order, so I could see when Id read books. I will be buying the paid version.

This is the worst app ever!!!!!!!!!!! you cant even open the app!!!!!! Please dont waist your time on this app!!! Trust me! And if I could I would give it 0 stars

This was so easy to use it was refreshing!!! I do have an ongoing booklist I share with three other friends. I wish there was a way we could all buy the app but have a login of sorts so we could all contribute to our list of reads for our bookclub!!?? That way if suzy adds a book then next time mary opens the app and logins in with our shared password THERE IT IS the book suzy added. Thanks for a SUPERB app as it stands though. Going to go buy the full version. (by the way those 3 books are just examples people. Swipe to delete and click new to add your own. If you use the "find" button it goes out and gets your info for you) play with it awhile.
